* Keep your ads short and to the point. Text ads consist of 250 words. For ads with a word count over 250 words there is a cost of 10 cents per word.

For properties valued or priced in excess of $500,000 (half million) we recommend the full page ad for maximum exposure.

* You will also want to get into the habit of checking your email at least once a day as new ads get a lot of attention and interested buyers will email within the first few days of a posting. We have a lot of readers who have this site bookmarked.

Here is a tip to EVERYONE about email and placing an ad: Do to the fact that email addresses are being crawled and spammed, we advise EVERYONE to open a new email account like hotmail, yahoo or gmail and use that address just for your ad. You can still forward that address to your own regular address if you are using outlook or thunderbird mail processors. Once your ad is finished you can then just drop that email address and not have to worry about being spammed forever with your regular email address.

A word of caution. Please use caution when replying to emails and especially to any who may ask for money to be transferred before selling your claims. Also be cautious about email replies from Africa. There are spam issues with all ads and emails. That is one of the unfortunate parts of using a global internet.
